Dog's Name: Erik Vicona: http://www.pedigreedatabase.com/german_shepherd_dog/dog.html?id=3007266-erik-vicona For anyone who wishes to talk privately I also have access to a video I have been given permission to use.
DM: N/N - certificate copy available on demand
Hips: reviewed at 10 years of age OFA certified "Good" - certificate copy and copy of x-ray available on demand.
Frozen Semen Quality: Motility and Morphology are both in the high seventy, low eighty ranges POST thaw. Again certificate from the vets available on demand.
Live cover: He has never performed a live cover but has been collected both with and without a teaser bitch. This would be open to discussion.
IPO 2: High in trial for both his 1 & 2. His biggest handicap was his handler (me) he was H.O.T.
You couldn't drag me into the politics of the show ring so I never got a KKL rating on him. The politics of IPO drove me out of the sport and the show ring was worse!!
Strengths on the field: High work drive for tracking. Strong defensive/civil drive in bitework. Full, crushing grip as is often produced by his sire.
Weaknesses on the field: Me. Flashy obedience. He does not have sport dog's flashy obedience. His drives were to please his handler, the work, and clashing with the helper. He never had ridiculously high prey drive as a young dog so really came into his own between ages 18-24 months.
References from my vets regarding breed worthiness include high marks on both his temperament as well as his physical health. Particularly on his temperament.
So I currently have a total of 12 breedings worth of straws frozen. 4 are already spoken for and I will be getting a puppy from that breeding. So that leaves 8 breedings. I am considering putting up a classified ad but trying to determine what would be a reasonable stud fee, since I already have the pick puppy I want. I looked at the classifieds at some of the stud fees and shook my head as they seem outrageous honestly. So figured I'd done my asbestos suit and wade into the forum.

This in itself, seems like an AD

I give up on this place.
If I'd asked "what would be a reasonable stud fee for this dog" without details I would get a laundry list of questions about health testing, workability, temperament etc.
I provide the question and give the details and I get attacked with "this sounds like an ad"
When did the PDB stop being a place to ask questions and be taken on good faith so you could learn something?
Forget it.

Second, no need for any suits, you will get the answers that people want to offer, accepting them or not is on you and again, why are people so sensitive today?
Third, what is his semen worth to you, $1000 a pop, $200 a pop? Whatever you think he is worth to you that could be reasonable to someone else who may be looking for a potential stud of your dog's caliber, that is what he is worth.

It doesn't matter. I reported my own post and asked the mods to remove it.
I've made a couple of posts now, asking a question and wanting to learn and getting every answer, and acquisition, without ever getting someone willing to talk to me about my question. It's not being sensitive it's being disheartened.

I don't know where you're located, but AKC, CKC, etc. might have breeder resources through their websites/organizations that could be helpful.
Are any of the stud dogs in the current ads about the same quality as your dog? That might be a starting place.
It will take some work/time to ascertain similarities/differences between your dog and the advertised dogs so you could adjust up or down accordingly.

Some people do not know the answer and in this case, I believe that its better to not get any rather then listen to crap.
Other people may not find a question "juicy" enough to come out and provide an answer, but, either way, you ask, you may get some ideas and at the very least, you have some communication with others during this challenging times.
