Among the many things I am learning about GSDs is how to read a pedigree. This time I was randomly searching and found this one: http://www.pedigreedatabase.com/german_shepherd_dog/pedigree/543774.html
There are some things on this pedigree I have never seen before, such as "CAB" in place of titles, and the korbericht (is that the right term?) is in Spanish instead of German. The limited research I did indicates Brazil. Is that correct and if so, what is this line like?
Also, on the pedigree it looks like there are a lot of untitled dogs, but when you click the link to a particular dog it shows Sch/kl ratings. There is no information on the sire. On this dog: http://www.pedigreedatabase.com/german_shepherd_dog/pedigree/426180.html three generations back, it shows Kkl1, but no Sch. title or equivalent. Are these gaps in information possibly due to the breeders not entering the details on the database? How do you read a pedigree like this?
Does anyone know of a comprehensive list of world-wide titles and acronyms that relate to the GSD? I've found several online, but none of them were complete. I know a list like this would be valuable to a lot of us. Thanks
