This is my new rescue Maggie. I got her last wednesday. She is eating 2-3 times a day and is slowly gaining weight. She is scared of most everything and likes to stay off by herself for now.

I have been unable to find any information on her Sire and Dam and am hoping maybe someone can tell me something.
Her Sire is Thunder Storm Clarke AKC #DN04983601
Her Dam is First Lady Zorra Von D Haus AKC #DN10363802
Maggie was born on January 9 2008 and her AKC number is DN20228505 but her puppy application has not been sent in yet. I know her breeder is in the Valdosta, Ga. area.

Whoever owned her last should be shot. She looks pretty bad to me. I saw a stray running around on the street yesterday in her same condition. The dog looked to be homeless for some time. I tried to catch her but couldn't. At least this one can get some MUCH NEEDED help.

I will never understand how anyone could do this to a dog or any animal. It breaks my heart.
I can't help you with any info. It looks like you've belonged to this board for a few years, so I assume you checked out her parents lineage on the pedigree search. I did and she obviously comes from working lines for the most part, except for the sire's mother's side- looks like some American lines. I am just so happy that you have her now. She will eventually come around- it just takes time and patience.
THe best,
Char

Are you feeding her by hand? You may want to try this to help her bond to you. That's what I would do if I were in your shoes. She will come around. She's a GSD isn't she? Be patient and bless your heart for taking her in. She's a lucky girl. Keep us posted and post new pics when she has her mojo back!

Here are updated pictures of her taken this morning. There is already a good improvement since last Wednesday when I got her. A friend of mine got her pedigree off of AKC for me a couple of days and we added her into the database.
