Is Teejay a US bred male, or was he imported?

by wanderer on 22 April 2007 - 20:04
Geez, I've given up finding anything on the actual show site. Perhaps they'll post the results in a week or so, when we already know what they are.

I believe TeeJay was born and bred in the US!!

Teejay von Wilhendorf highest placing male ever bred in USA.
VA2Naxos Holtkamper See (Zamp Thermodos son)
VA3 Andruscha Noort
Females
VA1 Kelly Zenteiche
VA2 Tendrina Ferme Malgre L'eau
VA3 Fendi Wilhendorf
VA4 Nicoll Ochsenfurt
VA5 Iffy Bullinger
VA6 Alina Quarin
Sorry, I rushed out at the end, and did not make a note of the rest of the males. Herr Knaul did say that he placed Hombre Essweiler Tal (his own breeding) VA against his own misgivings as the other judges thought that his strong work made him deserving of the placement. Herr Knaul also stated his reason for placing Teejay VA1 was a large progeny group of very high quality at only 3 years. Best Wishes, Jonah

anything on a bitch named Xenia von Angelbaum??
owned by frank or pat Tate from long island??
by jdh on 22 April 2007 - 23:04
Also VA was Nick Altpeortal (Hoss Hirmer Teich son)
Some dogs that have previously placed higher ended up farther down the line, resulting in some grumbling. Herr Knaul started the males with the admonition to handle fairly, and stated that he would penalize handlers 1 place for passing. He stated at the end of judging that he was not trying to please everyone. Best Wishes, Jonah

Aren't the breeders of Teejay in trouble with USA?
