the good or bad of these kennels - Page 1

My sister is on the search for a new GSD puppy...and has 3 different kennels shes looking at rite now...i thought id ask on her to see if anyone has anything good or bad to say about these kennels.....2 are in Europe...1 in North America.........(1) Viadei GSD in Quebec,Canada...(2)Haus Amberg GSD in Germany...(3) Zwinger vom Webachtal in Italy......any and all info that i can give her would be greatly appreciated

As with many such inquiries, more information about the buyers wants and experience is needed for anyone to give a modicum of advice.

Has the buyer had a GSD before? What kind of home situation (family, house vs appartment, etc) will the dog be in? Etc., etc., etc.

The buyer really should do their own research because they are going to be the one to answer questions from the breeder.

Hi, out of those 3 I'd strongly suggest you the Webachtal kennel in Italy. They have amazing GSDs bred by them and have a lot of knowledge of the breed standard and how a GSD should really look like (aside from whichever current trend there is at the time)

jdiogoc, can't like that part of your post enough times!! Breeding fads and breeding for extremes has destroyed so many good breeds!

I've noticed with the German show dogs that many of the Italian kennels have not fallen for the extremes seen in many of the dogs from Germany and other European countries.
