What do you mean about the seminar being only for LEO? Is this only for those who are participating with a dog? or does that include auditors?
IMO I think if a dog that's particpating that was bought by the hard working tax payers money should be allowed to observed to the open public. It's only fair, right?

No, it's not fair Brittany. You're not a Law Enforcement Officer and you don't need to be included in the training.

If your name is an alias for Clive, I bet the female LEOs would have no trouble stretching the rules to let you attend. And, if by some chance, it's Gwyneth, the male LEOs would probably even pay your traveling expenses.

What I mean is that unless you are an active street K-9 handler, or a retired one, or are Sworn Peace Office of some Agency you cannot register to attend. It is a liabilty isssue with having people that are not involved with the training of dogs for Police Service Work at a seminar like this. If you have an interest in Police Dogs give your local unit a call and perhaps they can schedule a demo for you.

If you have an interest in Police Dogs and thier training, perhaps call your local unit and schedule a demo. But as far as this seminar goes it is closed to anyone that is not a LEO; not meaning your birth sign.
