How do you think his genetics would match up/compliment/improve your typical West German sport dog these days if you were looking to add a bit more "seriousness" to a breed?

depend on level of seriousness you are looking for, nothing extreme what I have seen, but real good dogs for sport and police

Seen several litters with environmental issues. But could also come through female or out of the combination.
