Hi all,

Just wanted to see what are you thought about this litter - what do you think about their bloodline?
What could be expected in puppies from this combination? Is there something you don't like in this combination?
Positive and negative opinions are welcomed.

What no bites? (pardon the pun.)

This kennel is in Ontario, and honestly, not my cup of tea, the male or the female. Strictly on appearance and structure,  I don't know how they work.

Red Sable, you just read my mind, I was thinking the same thing, "Not my cup of tea"

Not to be rude,
but I think I will stick to my 5th generation of home grown dogs, with lines that go back to the breeds origins.

Hi,

Thank you all for your comments.
I understand that some of you prefer the working line GSD's and this is fine with me. Every line of GSD's has its own purpose (sometimes in its own way) and I respect that.
I 'm personally not a big fan of American shown lines so I somewhat understand the comments posted here by working lines GSD owners/breeders about German show lines GSD's.

I would appreciate if the members of this forum would continue to post their comments about the potential of this litter - pros and cons.

Thank you all.

Nickn,

Potential for what?

Sport?  Doesn't look to be much potential.

Showring?  Probably the gaiting will be flashy given the angle on the stud.  The male seems to have a masculine head but his pigment isn't anything special.  The female has a nice ladylike apperance but again nothing special in terms of pigment or expression.

Companion/pet? Depends upon their temperments, which you can't really tell on paper.

Nickn, Looks like it could produce very nice puppies for show, Sch, or many many more venues a versatile GSD should be capable of. Sport? Doubt it,  who knows, but since that is only one discipline you certainly wouldn't be short of other options. I certainly wouldn't refuse at least a look at this litter, I rather like the combination. Are you considering a puppy from this breeding? Certainly worth considering, good luck.
