BUYER BEWARE. Mittelwest currently has a parvo outbreak and has history of parvo outbreaks in the past. 14 puppies + have passed away on their property in 1/2018 and 2/2018 and counting due to improper handling and lack of proper veterinary care. I suggest you request reports from Illinois Department of Agriculture and McHenry Animal Control and see for yourself. Do not step foot on their property for training or to visit puppies as you will bring parvo home with you. DO NOT ATTEND TRAINING AT MITTELWEST. They do not properly care for their dogs or puppies, especially when sick. Multiple dogs on the property are living areas with no shelter or inadequate shelter in the Chicago weather. They are good at hiding these things and telling you what you want to hear.

Oh my grief...how far they have fallen. Tragic. Those poor dogs.

Oops, I only saw one post, not the rest of the posts when I loaded this thread.
Still, the report seems to indicate that there is not neglect or mistreatment going on?

If I read correctly what was PM'd to me there is another report for Feb that will be posted I have also asked for more proof of connection to the dead pups.

There is currently an open investigation being completed with Illinois Department of Agriculture. They stated they cannot release any information until the case is closed. Field officers are investigating their kennel. Once it is closed, you can submit an FOIA to obtain these reports for yourselves. You can also contact McHenry Animal County and submit an FOIA for their prelim reports, but the case is now being handled at state level, vs county level due to the nature of their findings and Mittelwest being a state licensed facility.
