Great news!
Wow, that's a LOT of angulation for a working line dog! (Who is Skyler?)
I am not sure this eldery bod is up to getting an AD with Eska, but when the warmer weather comes, I'm planning to see how we do biking together. Have been increasing our walking distance as time and weather allows. There's a great network of trails at the local military base!
This is what our weather's been like - typical of spring in Canada It was 55 F on Tuesday, then plunged to 7 F Tuesday night. The strong winds that night blew my gate open, and Star escaped. I spent the evening combing the streets for her, and praying she hadn't been hit by a car, because the escape happened during evening rush hour. Eventually tracked her down at the local animal shelter! WHEW!! Going to replace the gate latch with brackets and a 2x4 to avoid this happening again!!
Thank God Eska didn't follow her!

Thank goodness Star is ok!!!!!
Evi does have quite a bit of angulation. We're doing OFAS IN a few weeks and looking for the right stud for next spring :)

Wishing you best of luck with the OFA's!
It's really interesting to see the difference between my 2 females. When we do our off-leash walks, after the 2 have gotten over the 'zoomies', Eska always drops back to walk by my side. I don't ask her to do this, or encourage it, though it has made teaching the focused heel an awful lot easier than it was with Star! Star, OTOH, is always running on ahead, sniffing and exploring.
This is the third time I've had a problem with the gate, which is why I've decided I need to do some major reconstruction on it. The first two times were just after I moved here. Each time, Star's been the one who took off, while Eska stayed home. Something else I know for sure is the gate had a lot of help from Star in being opened. She gets into the kitchen cupboards, and when we were living in Bradford, she figured out how to open the screen door! When I left for Quebec to visit my mom, she let herself out of the house, and tried to follow me!
The escape artist thing is something she's inherited, too. Her breeder told me he though her mom must be related to Harry Houdini!
