The list sounds reeeeeeeeally stupid. How about getting off the internet and television and go to working venues and seeing what dogs work.
Education is truly impossible in dog world its no wonder greeders, bullshit artists and conmen have such an easy time raping you people.
Dude a straight back is no more a sign of quality than pigment is of working ability, a reverse mask is of aggression or size is of power, faaark, television is not reality.

Also, don't call me dude. I do not know you and I'm not fifteen years old. If you don't like my suggestion, maybe pass on this thread and go troll another. Ok?

My idea of straight back is a straight true-back slightly curving to meet the loin-back and the loin-back slightly curving to meet the croup.
If you meant a parallel to the ground straight line from wither to croup, no way it can meet the croup without a starkly visible break in the topline.

K, I will troll another thread. Good luck with finding your straight back dog like the one you saw on a television show, you have really done your homework.
I'm sure the mods will love hosting a definitive list of good and bad breeders.

Here's your straight-backed GSDS:

Be careful what you wish for. These dogs are almost all over 100 lbs., and are NOT bred according to any known standard of the GSD.
Many of the breeders who breed for a straight back also breed for long coats, and off colours, like liver, blue and white, in addition to large size. Where they got the idea that German shepherds of the past were that big and heavy, I have NO IDEA!
