The large subset of opinions often encountered on the internet about the true nature of the GSD, renders the road to objective knowledge a daunting one. It seems more and more that the GSD is being presented as whatever the beholder wants it to be. If such a situation should continue, further splitting of the breed may become inevitable.
So my question to the community is which person/persons ( and why ) is truly eligible to speak authoritatively about our wonderful breed: The German Shepherd Dog ?

What I learned, be it in real life, or be it on this board, without experience no knowledge.
There are people on this board
experienced in health care
experienced in breeding
experienced in IPO
experienced in agility
experienced in tracking
experienced in showing
experienced in police dogs
experienced in AS lines
experienced in GS lines
experienced in GW lines
experienced in DDR lines
experienced in Czech lines
...
At least for me all of those experienced people have a lot to contribute.
As a German for me there is a standard, and whatever dog fits into this standard, is worth at least a second thought.
