Just curious as to anyone here has boarded working dogs( bite trained dogs )  for an extended period of time and how it worked out ?i know there's more bad experiences than good but Iam curious to hear them.

I have, albeit a few days;

the facility was designed to house bite trained dogs (also accepted pets). the owner is a trainer of working and understands their needs.

dogs had plenty of space and a double partition thingy where the dogs could be isolated in an outdoor area while the help cleaned out the kennel and put food out etc.

I believe this type of facility is very rare hence working dog people would travel a long way to board their dogs.

Boarded their own, or do you mean taken them on for other people?

I have boarded several for other people, but mine go with me. Never boarded mine at all except with a stud owner for breedings, and only then if I really trusted the person. There have been 2. LOL

Look in your area for sport people that run boarding kennels. They understand the dogs and generally aren't the kind to let them out and let them socialize with others. When we've left our dogs we just make sure to let people know that the best is if they just come into the kennel to feed them and then clean it if necessary. There's no need for a dog to have time outside a fairly large indoor/outdoor kennel.

The problem is sportinh people are the ones who do most of the shady shit, either stealing dogs, breeding/collecting dogs etc , def hard to find trustworthy people In the dog world

Any evidence for that big claim.

Sport breeders rely a lot on pedigree papers for sales.

Not that easy to fake PEDs these days.

I think the PPD crowd are more dodgy.

The only 2 places I've ever left my dogs were both "sport people." Mike Williams, Alte Baum, and Bill Kulla/Jennifer Acevedo, vom Geistwasser. I assure you, no "shady shit" went down. Shawnicus, you seem about 14 years old at times. What kind of crowd are you associating with? Real, reputable "sport people" or thugs who own bite sleeves?

Aw. You two are spoilsports. Shawni was just playing at throwing unsubstantiated over-generalised shit out there, to see if he could stir a reaction, is all.

I am boarding pets and working dogs. During the day the dogs are kept at the facility, at night they come into our home. The most dangerous dogs I've boarded were actually pets. From Dog to Fear aggression.

Working dogs seldomly are an issue. Depending on the owners wishes, most of the time the pets are kept in a pack and daycare situation since that's what owners want and the working dogs are usually kept seperate from that, unless the owners don't have issues with their dogs socializing.

That being said, not a single of the working dogs I've had, from Malinois to Rottweiler, were the ones I had to be careful with....

As the 'security' kennel I used to manage was full of mostly non-bite-trained dogs, and as I was not 'boarding' them, I was there all the time ;-), I was not going to comment on this thred. My only experience that comes anywhere near specific to the OP question was when I 'kennel sat' some dogs in my earlier incarnation as a Show helper who did dog-walking and pet sitting on the side.
The owner was a serving Police dog handler; most of the time she was away, her operational dog was with her; but back home,(hers), I had his father - who was a retired PD (and a Trials dog, and an Ob Ch); plus a couple of pet/breeding bitches to care for. Our Police do not allow anyone to look after serving Police Dogs except qualified Officers; but once they are retired, it's a different story. (The most recent bite-trained dog at my work kennels, later, was also a retired K9).

However ... from that limited experience of 'boarding' working dogs, I would like to echo every word of Baerenfangs Erbe's post.
