Thanks for all the posts and advice on my previous messages. Now the same female is a bit bloated in the chest. She is a two year old working line and her chest looks a bit bloated but she shows no sign of any discomfort, still running around a playing. Any one has any idea what the cause maybe. She is not pregnant but was just on heat and I tried to breed her but she did not tie. Thanks a bunch. Bradley Watson

Her chest looks bloated when you look from the front or from the side? What do her heart and lungs sound like? Does she also feel bloated? Is she up to date on worming? Does she live with cigarette smoke? Not to be rude....just trying to help. Is she bloated under the ribs or behind that?

You say her Chest looks bloated Do you mean her Chest or her abdomen? How long is it since you tried to breed her? You don't need a tie for her to be pregnant. Dose She have any discharge?

From above she looks like her ribs a spread out wider than normal, from the front it looks like her chest is wider. Her abdomen is the same as always, and she was teken to th male last night. She still has a normal crop, and tuck up behind the ribs. There were no smokers around her letely not since about two months ago. Bradley Watson

I had also given her some raw chicken necks a while ago and I was giving her raw eggs but I stopped about 2 weeks ago. She is still breathing normally.

I had that problem with one of my females, scared me to death! I took her to the vet and he said that all he could see was some dirt in her stomach. Well about 3 or 4 weeks later, she had 7 puppies! That was some kind of dirt! LOL

Ok, I think you should have a chest x-ray done to check her heart. Could also be a floating tumor..I hope not and am not trying to scare you and usually the floating tumors would not make her look bloated. If she was mine i think I would have a peek inside on x-ray. Also did this come on suddenly?

Difficult to say what it might be but may be due to hormone changes as some bitches do look a bit bloated while on heat. If she is eating, drinking and still her normal self I don't think it is anything to worry about

Wow, i hope its not pups because they wouldn't be purebreds. And the same for the tumor. I just noticed a while ago, and didn't think it could be anything serious. I will take her to the vet as soon as I can. What does a floating tumor do to her?
