Yes...
Whenever I was waiting for guests bucket and floor cloth stood in the kitchen so I was able to remove the latest dirt seconds before the guests arrived.
Sounds crazy, but sometimes I really miss it...

I know what you mean, Susie, about missing the mess dogs make. About 7-8 years ago I didn't have a dog for about 18 months; I missed the fur flying everywhere, the muddy paw prints, and the smudged windows. The house barely seemed like home in those months...

It makes my kids (grown girls 20 & 18) crazy that there's hair and dirt on the floor constantly. We can sweep twice a day and it doesn't change. I can't imagine a time that it won't be like this. I love my dogs, GSD's and mutts alike. They're messy and noisy and breathe in my ear and stick their noses on my closed eyes while sleeping. My car is a hopeless mess of dog hair and smudged windows. LOVE IT!!
