Not sure if it's out of place to make a suggestion, but I couldn't find a suggestion board.
Currently, when you want to add health testing, there is a box titled, "Other Health checks". However, when you enter in this box, it shows up on the dog as, "Other health issues". This wording seems to assume that any other health checks will result in issues. It is also cumbersome for other breeds that perform more or different health testing. I feel the system currently is biased towards several breeds, but I feel streamlining could make it more user friendly for others.
My suggestion is to add user managed, "testing boxes". Clicking a button titled, "manually add health testing" will add two text boxes. You can add more than one row of testing. I'd say maybe a max of 5-8 would be good. These would display much like the AKC/breed club numbers.
The first text box in the dog's edit page is titled, "Testing Type" which identifies what the test is for. Examples include: HSF4, MDR1, CEA, DM, thyroid, eyes/CERF, etc.
The second box titled, "Test Result", identifies the result. The way this is expressed depends on what is being tested, but result such as N/N, M/N, M/M, etc.
So if you were testing for both MDR1 and HSF4 and the dog was negative for both, it would look like this under the dog's name:
HSF4: n/n
MDR1: n/n
Another good addition would be, "links". A user can link to images or pubically accessible database pages that provide proof of testing. For example, a hyperlink to the dog's OFA or CHIC, etc online database page for hip/elbow scoring, and genetic testing websites for any testing they may want to verify. This would make the results into hyperlinks that people can click in order to verify the proof.
I can provide example images of what my ideas look like and how they would be executed.
