I just got back from spending 8 days at Dean & Karla Calderons kennel in Oklahoma. Actually, I got back a couple days ago but have been too exhausted to do much more than sleep! There were about 10 of us there with dogs at all different levels. We were up at dawn and pretty much trained until late into the night the whole time. We worked all three phases every day. It was extremely intense with Dean providing a ton of individual help to each dog/handler team. As is always the case with Dean, I have come back a much better handler and am motivated like crazy to do better. We even got to have a little relaxation and socialization with the two barbecue dinners at the kennel. As anyone who has trained with Dean knows, he is extremely generous with his knowledge and is a very good teacher. Dean is also very direct and honest with everyone. If you are looking to learn from the best, go to Dean.

You LUCKY thing!
I trained with Dean for years. If I know anything, I probably learned most of it from him.
Wish I could go move in next door to them now!

Me too. I consider myself lucky to have stumbled upon him in the early 80's at a los angeles dog club that is now defunct (whats new). I'll tell you, it was such a great 8 days. I had a commitment I couldn't get out of at home or I would have stayed and tagged along to the AWDF.
