PS: remember raw and kibble do not digest at the same time so sometimes it is hard for the dogs that are on both to digest it properly. Just food for thought... Nan

I do things some what different than most, this is just another way it can be done and I have been doing it for years. My dogs are healthy and happy.
I leave kibble out for self feeding. Then feed 1.5 -2 pounds raw such as just chicken leg quarters or other parts for the raw portion.
I do not worry about balancing anything, the kibble will give them anything they need and they get the benefit of the raw and I get the ease and worry free feeding.
I have feed many premade and tried all the methods of adding the fruits and veggie ideas this works for me and my dogs.

Thanks for the advice. I looked at the prepackaged but the only things near me (without shipping) are at PetSmart and Petco which is the Basic Instinct and Primal I believe. The costs seem high for what you get (about $6 per pound) and I was thinking I could get a better, higher quality meats for that. If there is a good website that ships to VA please let me know.

I would contact the owner of K9 Kravings direct. If my memory serves me right I believe his name is BOB; seemed very knowledgeable and helpful. Believe he is backeast like NY or Conn. Nan
PS: Yes there is a complete list of stores in VA: Just go to K9 Kravings and hit store locations then Virginia. list will come up. good luck Nan

It's not rocket science and they're dogs , their stomachs can digest things you wouldn't believe .. Yes you can feed raw with kibbles, and don't worry about bones ( as Long as uncooked) I usually do a quarter of raw chicken , 2 cups of dry food ( orijen) mixed with one raw egg .. I feed that twice to pups up to 12 months and once a day to an adult dog, organ meat ( cow liver) twice a week with a bit of cottage cheese. If an adult working dog , then I usually feed a half chicken (raw) every other day with supplementation. Adult dogs don't need to be fed everyday specially working dogs

There are no worries for most dogs about feeding kibble and raw together. It is a myth. Everything digests at a different rate (kibble, bone, organ, different proteins etc..)
I reccomend joining the Facebook group raw feeding community.
