Having Judged GSD on more than a dozen occasions over a period of some 14 years in India and lectured on my many of those occasions, it was a great pleasure for me to read this article by Sanjit Mohanty. It brought back the memories of meeting many of the people and dogs mentioned, particularly my very best friend the late Vijay Singh. India has much to be very proud of, and many to genuinely thank for its positive progress with the GSD. There is still much to be done, but the GSD in India is certainly progressing, and providing much pleasure to growing numbers of enthusiasts, my sincerest congratulations and best wishes, and greetings to my many friends and acquaintances in India.
