No surprise there will be no charges for her "carelessness." Poor judgment can't be denied at any rate. Typical, I think, of her nature and attitude that some rules are for those other people. Continuing with her campaign calling Trump reckless will need her to wipe the egg off her own face.

Not finding a history for a precedent by the FBI is a bit ingenious, I think, because of the newness of the ever evolving Information Age. If one is a pioneer in work arounds, they are surely setting the bar for the future.

If GWB can get away with invading another country based on lies then why should this surprise anyone?

And keep in mind, for anyone who cares to defend Bush, that Trump said the very same thing.

I would prefer to keep GWB out of this thread discussion altogether, since he isn't running for prez. How this news of the FBI report affects voters in deciding between Hillary, Trump, and their respective parties, and how they will respond is much more to the point. Some how one of these worse case scenario candidates is going to end up sitting in the Oval Office.

It won't change a thing. And if Trump relies on this one issue he won't be helping himself any. The people who don't like Trump have their reasons and when Clinton's judgement on this one matter is weighed against those reasons it won't be enough to change their minds.

I could never vote for Trump. His rhetoric isn't directed at me so he doesn't want my vote anyway. I would not have made a good Nazi or Blackshirt. I'm too lazy to be irrational.

I don't like Clinton but at least she is trying to reach me. I want to see how much of Sander's influence is going to be in her platform.

This won't be weighed as a single matter, not by Trump's new publicity handlers. I don't think it will be enough to stop her at any rate. The Teflon thing from Bill seems to be working for her, too.

If you think Hillary is trying to "reach you" because she cares about you, you just made me laugh!

I think Sandler's forum and bizarre backstage party loyalty will help Hillary.

Trump has to count on the wide swath of the lesser educated to be numerous and committed enough to have also, registered to vote. Usually that is a tactic better left to the Dems (Going for the absenteed and infirm end, to vote, per community outreach, etc.)

Yeah, those sick and poor shouldn't even be given a vote, thank goodness someone reaches out to them. Trump has way more skeletons under his bed than Hillary, IMO. How does that tax return look? How long before he files bankruptcy again? I wonder how many banks will not do business with him? Hmm, lots of questions and no answers. Just curious how many crimes was Nixon charged with?

by beetree on 06 July 2016 - 07:07

You got it wrong. Helping the sick and poor to register and vote is not the problem with the outreach. Abusing that process to manipulate the vote is the problem because it is illegal.

Abusing the process of signing up a few 100000 is somehow manipulating the vote? lmao. Okay.

Also, I fail to see how lawful tax returns or a lawful and strategic bankruptcy to reduce liability is supposed to erase Hillary's nonchalant, careless attitude towards her responsibility as Sec. of State.

How do you think that attitude will translate if she wins the prez? It isn't like this attitude hasn't been pervasive during her whole career of many controversies. Whitewater, ring any bells? Susan went to jail rather then tell her tales. And Bill upped and pardoned her, too, such was his reward for her being loyal. Hillary even coined the phrase, "vast right wing conspiracy" to gain her a position as the eternal victim of her continuous, self-centered being.

I also don't think real estate developers of Trump's stature have the same problems with banks rejecting them for loans as individuals, especially if the cause is universal as a market bubble bust.

Interesting that you bring up Nixon. He was pardoned for his crimes, too. Hillary surely would have got an Obama pardon, too, if the FBI hadn't decided to treat her like a silly girl who just wasn't thinking when she could have put US interests in grave risk. She was exposed to hackers too, on her private server, while on States' business, abroad. Only since there weren't any more or rather, serious negative consequences found, (unlike Benghazi) was it made possible that the FBI wasn't forced to determine further action would be merited.

Nothing has changed about Hillary: Poor judgments and entitlements are still hers to bear.

I am referring specifically to the local Dems in Bpt. Yes, they like to work the system in their favor. I am sure they are not unique, as Dems. Laugh all you want, but it will be at your own detriment to blindly ignore party unlawfulness.

You are not understanding where the law is being manipulated and broken. I could explain...but you would have to stop laughing, first.
