Can anyone give me an opinion on Jack v Blender See? Do you recommend buying a pup from this male? What about a female, what female do you think produces the best offspring? I want a National/world level working Schutzhund pup.

I like his lines. but buying a puppy that will compete at the national/world level is like winning the lottery. fado kathargo was the 5th pick in his litter for example. even if you do get the puppy that is the one, you still need a training helper that can take the puppy to that level plus be a very very good handler and have some very good people around you to coach you. it is by no mean impossible i wish you the best of luck. myself i have the same goal and have went though 5 dogs in the last 2 years looking for the one. best bet is if you have the funds to go out and buy an older dog. best of luck:)

This is a nice line. I really like the Nick progeny which was used heavily by Koos Hassing. The famous Wannaer Hohen kennel used Jack with success. Yara vd Wannaer Hohen V rated in a US National competition, she is a Jack daughter. Is Jack in the USA?
In order for you to pick a pup and go to the nationals with it is going to require a whole lot of variables to come together. Just like WD said. I would be very interested in seeing what female he is covering.
Workingdawg, no disrespect but 5 dogs in 2 years? Maybe you are not giving them long enough, or maybe your program needs tweeking.

Kyle no disrespect taken. i know 5 in 2 years it sucked. 3 of those dogs were puppies 2of the puppies by 8 months were crippled by HD and the third pup at a year old weighed 35lb and had one testicle (very small dog). bad puppy luck. the 4th dog i picked up in from a old club member that when he left the dog was six months old and the dog was a rock star. i got the dog at 18 months old and he was no longer that same dog, afraid of everything. keep the dog for a while he just never came around. the 5th dog was a malinois that was a rock star except for the fact he had a temperment problem. he would bite people that got to close to him, it was a real pain in the ass even getting people to be in a group for the dog. the problem never got to the point i could feel good about the dog around people.

Hi, I am the owner/trainer and handler of Yara von den Wannaer Hoehen. Yara is a Jack daughter out of Uschi von den Wannaer Hoehen. Yara was SchH3, IPO 3 before she was 3 years old and as the youngest dog at the Nationals 2006 she placed 2nd. Yara is SG confirmation rated and was koered last year in KKl.2. Yara herself is OFA fair, 5 dogs (out of 7) out of her litter were x-rayed, 3 times a-normal, one a-fast normal and Yara with OFA fair. If you need more information about her email me or check out my website (www.vangoghkennels.com, sorry it is not updated due to some server problems !!).
Further are there two Jack sons (out of Hel von den Wannaer Hoehen) very successful in Germany. Wobo von den Wannaer Hoehen (Dieter Schmale is the handler) is SchH3, SG and Kkl.1 and places 6th at the last years BSP and Aly von den Wannaer Hoehen (also out of Hel from a repeat breeding) qualified as an alternate to the BSP 2006. His brother Aik has SchH3 as well.
I know that Jack was sold by Dieter Traeger to Hungary where he qualified to the Worlds, but did not show. After that he was sold again, but I did not know where to and I also do not know about the reasons why he was sold. Jack was handled by Dieters wife at the BSP 2003 I think, but he scored not very well. As far as I know is he a dog that is not easy to handle due to a lack of guidability especially in protection.
I hope these information helped.

Supposedly, Jack is not there. Some had posted earlier about that.
I do not know if he was sold to Hungary or Mate was just handling him at the 2003 (?) WUSV in Ravenna. Dog did not show due to injury.
Very nice dog....:-)
