Widely used antibiotics that cause some severe side effects in humans and likely can cause tendon, jount, and nerve damage in dogs as well.  Ciprofloxacin is widely used as is Levofloxacin so care in using these antibiotics in animals of any age but especially young rapidly growing dogs.  Health problems can occur any time up to 6 months after treatment.
