I could have wrote this because I have been saying the same things for years. And this election cycle has proven my point beyond a doubt. And truth be known most of Enemas supporters are at the very least blind to the facts and at most are in fact racists.

Wake up to what answer? There is a non profit that promotes multi culturalism and sponsors picnic get togethers with underprivileged city citizens of color, and the do gooder hearts of white folks of the moneyed, privileged folks living in sheltered suburbia. Is that what you are looking at for answers? Do you think that works?

Investment is part of the answer. Investment in our inner cities and not cuts to our inner cities. There has and continues to be a gap in funding for large predominately black communities. Look at Flint Mi if this had been a largely white affluent community, do you honestly believe that what happened would have happened? I don't. Since Reagan with his trickle down economics, inner cities have gotten progressively worse. Because trickle down means nothing. And in fact instead of trickle down there has been a major flood up to the highest earners. This will never be fixed with our current obstructionist thinking.

I really can not see how you have come to make some of the connections in your answer. As I read it, it becomes a rather vanilla and disjointed response.

Investment, of course, but what areas? Education or business?

Flint, MI water supply fiasco applies because....?

How does Reagan's economic success with reduction of inflation become harmful?

What are the numbers of big city Mayors who are Democrats vs. Republicans? You are good with statistics, let us see what those are and if they will bear up with your "obstructionist" claims.

Mayors? lol, lol, lol. When congress won't even do their constitutional duty and confirm a supreme court nomination, that is obstruction and if they are willing to shirk their constitutional duty - they are surely willing to obstruct the running of this countries business. Business? Bee, sometimes you make me wonder, affluence sure makes people say some strange things. I don't know about the state of affairs in your area but our infrastructure sure is in shambles and I would probably start there. When third world countries have faster internet at much much cheaper prices, it sure says things about us as a country.

GSD, well, you have me at a bit of a disadvantage because I don't know where you hail from, just that from what you have mentioned, it must be some kind of rural podunk because of your complaints about your poor internet access, or slow service speeds. We certainly do have some fast speeds available in my neck of the woods. Infrastructure starts at the town levels, and cities. Only when you move up to the interstates, will the Feds be interested because we can't stop interstate commerce, now can we? Didn't your state benefit with Obama's infrastructure initiatives of highways? We sure did. And still do. Someone made a joke about Chicago that I thought was funny. They said they only have two seasons there when it comes to driving: Winter and Construction. It is a never-ending business.

How you jump to the influence of the Supreme Court vacancy choice with maintaining railroads, seaways, and bridges is something else. Makes zero sense, unless you think our leaders actually want America to fail. I certainly can't agree with that.

Inequality that needs to be addressed is the one about opportunity for everyone, without regard or special treatment for the citizen's, or all races. Is your tax structure based on real estate taxes in your state? That is a concern said to be an issue that needs better parity in a state such as mine, that has shown proven disadvantages for public schools in inner cities. That is what I thought you were going to discuss as what needs investment, to make a real change.

Have you seen this? Here is food for thought.
