Heelers are outstanding dogs. Abhay owns 2.
Out here, the cowboys all have a Heeler in the bed of their Pick Up.
If the owner goes in a store or restaurant, the Heeler wont pay anyone much mind.
Just dont touch the Pick Up, or the owner.
Heelers are a one Man dog.

My family loves the Australian Cattle Dog aka Heeler. They are a tough dog and shouldn't be owned by just anyone.
My dad who rescues heelers will think nothing of getting into his truck and drive 2 or more states away to save one.
He brings them back to the ranch and at first just lets them be a dog then once settled in he gives them a job. A lot of ranchers look forward to one of my dad's dogs when they are trained.
I know that none leave our place less than a year as he (my dad) wants to spend that much time with each dog they are exposed to every thing.
They will bite the sleeve and work with the same amount of desire of a GSD.
