What do all of you gsd folk feed, aside from raw?
Also, how long do you keep your puppies on puppy food, when do you switch to adult?
Currently I feed evangers. Anyone feed that or had?

Partial raw/kibble.
Chicken leg quarters and a little bit of Honest Kitchen base mix in AM.
Farmina and salmon oil PM.
Switch pups to adult food around 8 months. Don't supplement them with extras as pups.

I will say that if you want to feed Kibble then choose one that is "Grain Free"...Choose your ingredients carefully and learn how to read the "Ingredients" label on the bags...
Another good thing to look at is Does your dog/dogs eat this food well...Then over a few months how do they do on it...Physical being including Coats...Weight...Energy...etc...
I NEVER feed any of my dogs (All Working Line German Shepherds) Puppy Food...From 3 weeks of age on they all get Adult Foods...It's very important to start your puppies off on GREAT foods...I begin ALL puppies off on RAW foods...Such as some RAW Chicken (no bones)....Veggies...Cottage Cheese...Yogurt...etc...Then later when they're ready I will begin mixing in some kibble...probably around 5 to 6 weeks of age...You want the puppies on a good quality kibble when they go to their new homes...
