Recently, I have been introduced to Tiekerhook German Shepherd and it surely looks like the best working line out there today..... Can anyone share their Tiekerhook line GSD experience?

Is there any other working lines that are equally outstanding or EVEN BETTER? I am looking to import one to Asia. There are more show GSDs around here....

Thanks...

If you have been on the Tiekerhook website, read what Koos says--that is EXACTLY what you get plus, plus, plus.

Quinn, my Tiekerhook puppy will be 5-months-old tomorrow.  He's as agile as a cat, he's a climber, shows no fear, natural retriever, handles stress like an adult (just started avoidance training w/pinch collar), he's determined & doesn't give up--the best thing is when he jumps in my lap, licks my face & lays down on my legs to chew his bone :)  Just love that dog.

See him in the first 5 videos on this page:

Any other working line out there?

There are lots of other great working lines out there.  Tiekerhook is one of many. Do some research on the BSP results and see what lines consistently score high in the BSP.

can you share what exactly you like about Tiekerhook? or are you just going by the grapevine.

What is in Tiekerhook that you could not find in others and what is your experience in working line. If you elaborate on these then others can be more specific in sharing thoughts and ideas

cheers

I am definitely looking for INTENSE working line GSD that has been proven as excellent in protection, SCH, IPO, and other competition like BSP. Obviously, there are many great working lines out there but I have ONLY been introduced to Tiekerhook and I was amazed by their HARDCORE.......
Hopefully I can get more info about other working lines from this forum and the good things to say about each of them or maybe their differences.

Thank you

tiekerhook dogs are

1) Intensely Intelligent more intelligent than an average human being and hence not fit for first time and ordinary owners.

2) Hardcore , what hardcore. They have the right balance of prey and defense

3) Taughter structured and mostly smaller in size rarely a giant come out

4) Training needs to be in motion not the intense correction type

5) Rock Solid nerves and grip like an alligator genetic

6) High prey drive hence suitable for the sport.

7) can easily be the foundation stock of a new breeding program

8) Any dog worth his/her salt on this database has tiekerhook in its pedigree

cheers

You might be doing yourself a favor, if you begin to learn the sport with a reasonably priced strong workingline dog.  That way, you'll have a better idea what you're doing when you get a Tiekerhook dog, and less chance of bad training to fix later.  BSP is the annual german national competition for SchH sport.
