for some days now an ad pops up on regular basis showing a coated stud dog - almost the same color and length of coat my last male had -
Drives me crazy...

Feel for you, so much, Suzie.
I can sympathise about the ad thing, too, although in a
slightly different way. I know I am still not ready to fill
the gap left by Taz since the end of July. I know that
when I do get the next dog s/he will have to be an
"oldie"; but there is a 3 years old boy For Sale in Holland
who is in the ads running at the moment ... and he's such
a nicely bred boy, and already titled, and looks so yummy,
I am seriously tempted !

No option for me right now, though, I don´t want any dog to stay on its own for 10 hours/day.
Have to wait for a change in life...
