So we are all done with almost everything we need to the our dog club, but "#$#$%... Why on earth is it a pice of textil so expensive? for puppys and small dogs we both the ikea tunnel for kids and Isa for example loves it, it works perfectly, and the top end even is blue. but for big dogs we need one with at least 60 cm diameter, is SO expensive?!
why is it? "#%#$&%$&/%#$

One is made to last for years and the other might be useful for a year at best. but you can sometimes find used agility equipment around.
Good luck with your club.

I know that we have to pay for quality, and the ikea solution is a very very temporary one, but for now it will have to do...
We ended up spending about 400 in the wood and 100 euros for the plastic/pvc so already spend about 500 euros just for the course, more 200 euros in bite work stuff, we will have leashes, collars, and kibble for sale at the club so at least another 500 euros... all done by the most skinflint person I know (Flávio) so we really can't spend anything else right now...
Was just complaining about the price of the "#%#$#&" tunnel because I'm totaly in love we our course and the tunnel is the thorn in it all... $&%$/#$/$%" =(

I'm confused: are you building an obstacle course or agility obstacles? These are fine if it's just an obstacle course, but not for agility. Agility jumps should be PVC jumps, some with wings, not these solid ones that won't drop if they hit them. Using PVC is also much cheaper and easier to move around and adjust. That A frame seems steep and the dog walk doesn't look stable and too tall - the height thing might be off due to the picture. About the only correct obstacle pictured here is the teeter.
Would I goof around on these jumps? Yes. Would I ever run my agility dogs over them? No.

Ps.: the litle wood jumps are intendent to beginer dogs and are nothing oficial, we had in the association where we first start training and they are great, they are small enouth most dogs can dog it easly and it also helps the handler to learn... don't know how you guys do it but it was very usefull to us, also gives a great warming up exercise =)
