I read a post on hear from Mollie s dated July 2015, it said the post was to old to comment on but I would like a update on how the dog is doing and if the hearing has come back. I too had BNT applied in my dogs ears and he has lost his hearing. My dog Has not had a ear infection since he was a pup, he is now a very healthy 13 year old. The vet did not give me any warring about the side effect of hearing loss. After it was applied my dog was very agitated, shivering and pawing at his ears. After a few days the vet had to give him a pain relief and anti-inflammatory. After 3-4 days my dog was feeling much better but was unable to hear. I called the vet and the company that makes BNT, both denied the product was responsible, told me I couldn't believe all the stories I had read about it on line, and finally that it might have been caused because of my dogs age. In Any cause scenario the WARRING should be presented to the dog owner before treatments! I want to hear from everyone who has experienced this same problem with BNT. Please share how you dog reacted to and is now doing after BNT treatment.

I have used the product three times over a two+ year time period on one of my females with no ill effects.
