Eska celebrated our move to new digs by coming into heat. One of the movers sliced his hand quite badly, and bled a bit on the floor during the move. The next day, I was wondering why I was seeing FRESH drops of blood on the floor... Geez, guess what?
Anyway, she's in standing heat right now, and I wish I could get a picture of this. Remember my old guy, (now 14 years old) the one I was debating putting down before the move? The dog that has to be helped up the steps? The one I had neutered at age 3 due to a bout of prostate trouble (and him being a rescue with no pedigree)?
He's out there trying to hump her!

Nothing stands in the way of a male and a female in heat .

It's probably because he was fully mature when I had him cut.
At least I don't have to worry about him tying with the girls anymore!
All the same, I am going to put Eska in her crate before I go out today.

Seen a 4 years old Red Irish Setter, huge guy, really well built and athletic, crawling up a 3 meters height fence with absolutely no room to gather some momentum with absolutely no trouble at all... (the result was not pretty... it ended up with me trying to grab is but and catching him down from the than fence... he was the kind of dog that still thought he was a little puppy that could fit in our lap...)
And even Mic being neuterd 2 years ago, in every single eat Becky or Isa made he was able to make sweet love with then... They are the eternal studs what can we do? eheheh
