Just a word of caution..... - Page 1

I noticed a certain member of this board soliciting information on certain kennels, etc. saying she was "looking into purchasing from them, etc" If you LOVE your dogs, please don't allow this woman to purchase them. She is nothing but a BYB, who knows NOTHING about the breed, and is merely just another pups for bucks, who happened to stumble upon enough $$$ to purchase a titled dog, or two. She talks of "raising GSD's" for years, yet knows nothing (at least based on her questions/advice, she appears that way) ALWAYS SCREEN YOUR BUYERS! (And your sellers too!) *Just thought I'd throw that word of caution out*

Just for the record here: I personally have asked for information on certain kennels in my area, and I assure you that I AM NOT THAT PERSON and am NOT a BYB!!! I I am newbie, and also an experienced GSD owner who wants to buy a well bred GSD. I have waited years to have another, and I am blessed to be able to get one soon-I have NOT "Stumbled upon enough $$$ to purchase a titled dog or two. Titled or not doesn't matter to me, and since I have NO knowledge of how breeders are or how they do business or if they can be trusted (in my area) I ask WHERE else am I supposed to go and get free anonymous help in choosing a good kennel?! THANK YOU to those of you who have helped me BTW!!! Much Appreciated! This is an OPEN FORUM where I THOUGHT new people like me could ask OPENLY for information BEFORE I got screwed by a breeder...sheesh! I can also assure you that the breeders that I have contacted have also done their homework on ME-anything less and I would have to run the other way... ***Just thought I would throw a word of truth out*** Do you want good people owning good dogs or not? Tirzah it is NOT you I am talking about BTW. This is a person who has been here for a while, repeatedly claims to be "selling out" or "downsizing" yet is constantly trying to aquire new dogs, etc. They also enjoy FLOODING the classifieds with REPEAT ads for the same few dogs....
