I had bought some Nutro for some dogs that I had here, and the owners didn't want them fed raw...boy did they have explosive bottoms...poor guys. Why are they being recalled? I guess I can just go and read it. Heather

They are being recalled because some cats/dogs have been dying from kidney failure.. sad..

All shit dog food IMO. I would never feed any of it. I tried to feed Nutro-Max Natural Choice back in the late 80's. My Dad (God rest his soul) was visiting and helping me with the chores for the month I fed that stuff. One day he came into the kitchen with a gooey poop-scoop and announced: "If you buy so much as one more bag of that crap, I QUIT!" 'nuff said. SS
