I am looking for a GOOD, Honest trainer here in the US. Not a guy tooting his own whistle - no, I want a certifiable, honest-to-God decent dog trainer for SchH titling, BH, Ad and so forth. I also would like leads for a decent chap to help import dogs for me - Not some Guy trying to Screw me over! I am tired of all the BS from looking at websites - can anyone help me?

We offer training and titling in Germany, also import assistance. Prices are set per title, not per month, as you find most often in the US, and we also try to finish each dog in a timely manner because most people want their dogs back within a decent time frame, and we do not want to have a dog just sit idle either. We offer a minimum title guarantee and discuss every dog before you send it to make sure your money is well spent, and our time is well spent too. It may seem a bit daunting at first thought, but it really isn't. Going that route is often cheaper and more effective. Our trainers are top competitors with two breeds, up to world level. No fluff, no hype, results don't lie. We train and title dogs from top kennels in Germany, not just from overseas. References are also available. Contact me for additional info and references. Please include a phone number.

I wish someone would quote some prices. How much does it cost to train a dog? I can't be the only one who'd like to know.

In-house training for Schutzhund titles: $1,000-1,200./mo. + expenses. (travel, entry fees, health care) Typical time from zero to title on a dog old enough to enter in a trial: 3-4 mos. Less time to put the 2,3, on a titled dog, Korung, re-survey, etc.
That's including helper fees for 2-3 sessions in protection per week, obed/tracking training 4-6 times a week. You can't get a dog trial ready in that time with only 1-2 sessions/week of protection.
For top (National event/working dog classes) show conditioning, add a bit. I feed a customized diet + supplements for top show conditioning and spend extra time building stamina in the dog with road work. (I hate that damned bicycle, but I ride it anyway!)
If the dog, in my and my helpers' collective opinions, shows no promise after 30 days, I send it home, unwilling to waste people's money or my own time.
Yes, you CAN send a dog to Germany or (shudder) Eastern Europe, IF you know and trust someone there not to screw you, but the shipping over and back will cost you at least a couple thousand, and going out to see your dog's progress now and then is not feasible for most people, and getting them to send you a video periodically is next to impossible!
Not everybody who loves the sport has the time and ability to title their own dogs. Most people feel more comfortable knowing their dog is closer to home. There's no shortage of business for a good Schutzhund trainer in this country. I just wish I had more time and kennel space!
So there you have it, as requested. When I get time, I will post all of this and more on my website, but with 18" of fresh snow to trudge through and the necessity of trying to find someone with the equipment to handle the job of clearing my training field in short order, I don't even have time to do THIS today! ;)
