My question is just a matter of pure curiosity. What would a dog who has been SV World Champion be worth, as far as selling price? Purely curious????

I have "heard" 6 figures....
I know, ridiculous....

over 6 in dollars, most are in the 7 (in dollars) depending on how "good" of dogs they are producing

if a dog impregnage a bitch once a week and you can get 1,000 per bitch that 's over 50,000@ a year..........if the dog is a grand champion the line of bitches is very long
its business at that level.
its business at that level.

I guess I was not very clear in my question. what I meant was that if someone wanted to buy the dog that is now, or has ever been world champion what would they expect to pay to actally purchase the dog? Any idea?

Yes, I had asked aound when I was looking for my first GSD. 6-7 figures. I have even heard of people wanting to buy dogs that have never been world CHs, and are STERILE that will pay tens of thousands for dogs/bitches that are old and sterile. Either because they think "maybe" they can get Just one more litter by luck, or because they just want to be able to say they OWN that dog.

If you think about it, there are people paying thousands for PUPS whose parents are not even titled at all.

Well Izzys Daddy first Qualifier for Belgium in the forth coming world championships this year, If i had the money i would offer around $30.000 before he went to the Championships but i bet that would not buy him,
If i owned a World Champion Dog i would not sell it,as Sitasmom says you make your money at stud,
But for me i would be very picky as to the females he went with above money unlimited, For it is what comes out of the breeding's which will keep him popular so for him to serve any female just for a fee is a No, No for me
