Ghosts in our Midst...yes plural - Page 1

I love this site, it presents some very wonderful opportunities to exchange ideas, knowledge, techniques, and fumbles. For those of you who are Not ghosts (you know the ones who DO post emails and contact information) Your posts are typically well thought, well written, polite, helpful exchange of ideas, experiences, good and bad. But they are real, they are from you and quite possibly could be taken as a "reflection" of yourself and you are aware of this, you are aware there could be consequences for ill actions/posts with regard to your "respresented character". For the Ghosts.. (you know the ones who do NOT post emails/contact information) it is very easy for these individuals to say whatever they want in any fashion they want because there are no consequences for they're behavior/actions there is no "respresented character" at all for those who hide. I would give no credit to any poster who does not post contact information, If your "brave" enough to post your thoughts here and "wish" for them to have any "impact" on anyone at all "show your face" (or post contact information) To lend any credit to any poster who does not post contact information would be fool hardy and sillyness. (and yes I've spatted with these nut balls too, slapping my own hand) Just remember it's easy to say something stupid when no one can hold you accountable for your actions/postings. Slander is bliss when no one can find me, says the ghost !! I would hope someones character is not dammaged on this site because of a ghost who hides behind his/her sheet of protection/no consequence for they're words/posts. Hopefully I have appropriately conveyed the message I am trying to get out there. If your a ghost don't bother to post I won't respond, and hopefully no one else will eighther. For anyone wondering how to tell if someone is a ghost... Click on the name above the paragraph written mine is EchoMeadows and it will bring up a new screen it will ask "send an email to EchoMeadows" if you click on that it will open the mail box for you. If this message of "send an email to EchoMeadows" does not come up... then you have a ghost.

and I've never noticed you abusing this site to hurt/pester others ie amuse yourself eigther, You would be safely said not a ghost. True definition of ghost... Echo, I think your point is moot. Anyone can get a yahoo or hotmail email and remain anonymous. I have a yahoo address for this site, everyone has to write me to that address. Sometimes I'll reveal my real email to those I choose to but for safety reasons I don't here on this website and many others. Birdy...

Is THIS where all that awful Spam comes from? LOL I just spent 20 min. deleting spam mail just loaded with wonderful offers for my investment portfolio! All I have to do is send my bank information and I'll receive millions of dollars from some off-shore interest, or invest in today's list of down-on-their-luck deposed ruler, or collect a huge inheritance from some foreign relative I never knew I had. I think that ANYTHING written on here by ANYONE should be taken with a grain of salt. I am quite capable of sorting out the good from the bad and don't need to have it edited for me, thank you. That is not to say that there isn't some great info here, there is. The trick is to sort the good from the BS.

I'm with Birdy. I've already been harassed by 2 posters to this board, don't need it again. It's not fun. One was convinced I was her neighbor and puppy sale competitor and she bombared me for weeks for keeping my dogs in chicken coops, stealing her dogs, stealing her daughter's dogs, yada, yada, yada. Another lunatic harrassed many of us; he was either mentally disturbed or a bully or both. In addition this same moron searched out personal information on a friend who was honest enough to reveal some of her information here. He posted her name, address, phone number, her profession, where she was born and her place of employment. Fortunately Oli removed it all from the archives. I've stated this here before, all one needs is your listed phone number to do a google search that will turn up your name, address and a map to your home. I'd just as soon that a nutcase not know where I live and prefer to reveal that information to those I choose. If you are selling items on this board, then you have to list your information and that's your choice and price you have to pay. I'm not selling anything and I prefer to pick my friends. I do understand where you're coming from, Mitch, but the sad truth is there will always be people on every internet list who are there only to belittle others.

It's very sad to see the attack that a certain individual who frequents this board and more often than not here to help others fall victim to the predatory behavior of other individuals that hide behind the protection of no Detection. But your right of course, and I understand where you are coming from as well.

LOL Shelley, but I doubt your spam is from this site, I have my real e-mail address listed but have never recieved any spam......(knock on wood)lol
