As far as blanket vs saddle, it's the same base genetic just varying strength of the black. If the sire is a saddle, your chances of getting that pattern is more likely. You're better off looking at their ancestry and what it has produced.

Dad parents or both blk n red saddle backs
Mom's parents is bi color and sabel but mom came out all black
