What would you expect from this breeding?

What's not to like??  Great dogs and not the usual suspects in the pedigree.  Pups will be like Mom and Dad mostly so if you like and know them it should go well.  I like the pedigree because it is not just the usual Tom, Fero, and Javir we normally see.  Some great females in the pedigree that will carry the load and make some excellent pups.  These bloodlines should mix well if breeding is in the cards .. not the usual.

Good for pet home with a reasonably active knowledgeable owner?

Depends. ..if the owner is dominant too, very likely pups will need a firm hand. I would go ahead.

The pups will likely be most like the sire and dam .. a little less like uncles and aunts .. possibly like the grandparents. None of the titles and paper work will be inherited. If mom and dad are good dogs with good heads and good hearts it is likely the pups will be the same with a good environment and proper upbringing. If you want only couch potatoes they will likely be too much.

I would be concerned about the "average" dog person being able to handle these puppies; how are the sire and dam trained and worked? Is this something that you could find out for yourself? Not just here say. Hands on experience?? That would be the only way I would consider a puppy from this breeding, although I do love the dogs behind both the sire and dam. Unlike Bubba I think the grandparents on both sides tend to come through more dominantly, sometimes more so than either parent.
