Reputable breeder of west german show lines GSD's in the midatlantic? - Page 1

Hi - we are looking for a reputable, low-volume breeder of exceptional GSD's from west german show lines in the midatlantic. If anyone (other than the breeders themselves) have any recommendations, I would appreciate it!  We have had GSD's in the past.  Our passed away this summer - he was an amazingly beautiful, loyal, intelligent black and red boy, both of whose parents were from West German Show lines. Thank you for any help.  I am willing to drive or fly anywhere for the right breeder.  We are not in a hurry and are very willing to wait for a puppy.  In fact, we'd prefer to wait until after winter (March would be idea, but again, we are more interested in finding the right breeder than timing it perfectly for us)!

Check out Shahbaz Kahn - Haus Khan. If he does not have puppies, he could direct you to other breeders in the area (NY state or NJ) or member of the training club he belongs to. You might want to check out the reg show this weekend as some exhibitors might have available pups.

I have gotten dogs from Merab Khiskiadze from Vom Hismerh. Very nice person and honest. Another I have purchased off of is Edison Davalos. My experience not so good with Shahbaz Khan. And if anyone sees him or emails him can you tell him Steve is still waiting for his money seeing he has blocked me. I have all the emails and the messages we had and i'm sure he doesn't want it on this board. He ended up getting his dog back. The dog is Hero vom Khan.

I have just found this (below) on Edwin Davalos, so he probably doesn't fit the profile of a responsible, low-volume breeder of well socialized and healthy, pure bred German Shepherds.....

This past Tuesday, veterinary tech Edison Davalos pleaded guilty in Hackensack to animal cruelty. He was fined $5,500 and ordered to provide 40 hours of community service (SEE: Animal tech admits neglecting dogs at Ridgefield Park animal hospital).

When all that went down with Edison he told me just someone called on him because he wouldn't sell him a dog. I followed the story I never once seen pictures of his dogs cramped in crates and covered in feces. I even went on the humane society page on facebook and asked to see pictures of the conditions. and I didn't even get a response. So I had no reason not to believe him. I have bought a few dogs and pups from him and all showed up healthy and clean. And even after all this they let him keep 11 dogs and he still breeds and has dogs. Normally wouldn't they restrict them from having animals?

In Georgia, new litter from current owners of Peik due November 22nd, her name is Rhonda Lakeman and she advertises Peik at stud on PDB. Nice breeding to a German VA. Nice pups from Von Hirschberg out of Texas.
I'm reputable but am in Colorado. Pups born just last week from Fulz/Furbo. Mom from Chacco. 8 noisy fat pups bred from both large black and reds . Pups will be true longcoats. Getting lots of loves and kisses in front of the toasty fireplace.

Thanks for the info! The only question I have about Peik and Schwarz und Rot is why I can't find ANY comments about them on this or the other popular German Shepherd websites? It just seems odd to not be able to find anyone commenting on them, if there are a legitimate and well known entity, don't you think? Many thanks!

I believe this is the Peik that is being referred to. He was imported first to Miami and the resold about a year ago to someone in Georgia.
