There are many ways to intice someone to go to your web site or email you concerning your puppies for sale. Some suggest thier dogs are of the highest quality, fantastic pedigrees and socialized extremely well. Others claim that their dogs are fantastic Sport and Schutzund prospects or "hard as nails". Lets have a little fun, and at the same time, some hints, as to what ad would make you "check out" their pups for sale. Type an actual ad. One medium paragraph or two smaller paragraphs, and convince me to check out your puppies. I am a prospective buyer looking on this web site (I really am not, this is a make believe exercise folks:). It doesn't matter if it is workingline or showline. I'll start: "Top showline puppies available now from VA and V rated BSZS West German dogs. Born and raised in our home and socialized with our kids and other pets. Ursus free lines. We ship in good weather only. Price includes everything to get your puppy from us to you, crate, shipping, health certificates, paperwork, etc. You pick out the puppy or we will, after consulting with you, depending on your future direction and needs. Prices start at $2000.00 for full registration pups. 909-202-3030 or email us at ineedapuppyfixnow@ionlyhavefive.com"

A picture says a thousand words. The picture grabs my attention first. I've been known to drool for days over a good picture. If I had pups to sell I would think about hiring a professional photographer.

THE CHEATING SON OF A GUN HAS BEEN CAUGHT! While he is away I am selling his puppies. I think they deserve a better home, then with one who is in demand to visit with all the ladies. I would have sworn he was raised to respect families and protect what he had. I should have thrown him in the dog house long ago instead, he lay next to me and I took him to all of the shows. Just so he could strut his stuff and have everyone compliment him. He would act like Tarzan swinging from the trees never letting go until I asked him to. I thought (and apparently so does everyone else) he is perfectly built. He will be gone for such a short time, so make me an offer and I will tell him when he returns his sons and daughters are worthy of him. Email VApuppies@makebelieve

As Triodegirl says above, you always look at the picture before beginning to start believing in the description. Short answers to a default scripted webpage always works for me. Then I'd start to ask proper questions. www.k-9classifieds.com has the format covered in my opinion. Do right, your advert, however good, somehow sounds slightly too good, in a false kind of sounding way, if that makes sense. I'd be inclined to say "yeh right, if I offered you $2,000 to ship when I asked, you'd say yes". Oh and take my phone number off your ad, I've had 4 calls already!! ;-)

Working Dogs: I'm sending you leads old buddy. Ya owe me commissions :) I sell things on Ebay every so often, and when I do, I use a set amount for shipping the items anywhere in the U.S. Sometimes part of the shipping comes out of my pocket and sometimes I make a little on it, but almost always some comes out of my pocket. Probably would not apply to this situation but I think I would like it.

Videos don't lie, either. I've only seen one video recently of a titled dog I would buy but the seller never answered my e-mail. Probably for the best as I would have been in over my head with that one, anyway. There's also a nice looking SchH1 female for sale over in Germany but no video. You really need to have videos availabe of the titled dogs--then answer your e-mail.

Do right, commission OK in Rupees? :-) There's also being out of pocket, and out of pocket with no pants left to speak of!! Offering the full service for a stated figure, means keeping firmly on top of the costs your end which takes time out of doing other things, unless you are well staffed. Videos of the correct dog don't lie either Triodegirl and is always a good idea. You just have to make sure the dog is the same. That in itself would be fun with so much possible with an editing suite.
