What real pressure are we talking about, can someone show this to me with one
of the Staatsmacht dogs ? Like to see this high pressure also in in not sport scenario.

SMH...why is is so hard for some of you to say something constructive about another trainer and his/her dogs without belittling them or dumping on bloodlines. Exactly how do  you think that benefits the breed in any way?

I don't see how anyone can be critical of Staatsmacht or Steven Schaub. Like he says in one of his previous post " Why does no one want to see proof?" His dog was 6th in the BSP one year (high in protection) and the winner of the BSP (Bolle) was sired from a dog with the Staatsmacht name. He has been doing this for 12 years! I think we should take stock in what he is saying and probably take stock in what he is breeding and concider ourselves lucky he is in the US. Just my thoughts.

LOL, are people really questioning Staatsmachts success???

No I only ask can someone show me the real and hard pressure about this. dogs. what I read in this
topic. WUSV championships have nothing to do with this, this are also  point championships for the best handlers and teams not
only the dogs,  I don,t doubt about the success in the sport world from this kennel

Blackmal, every dog trained for high level and competing on high level for a period of time is used to a lot of "pressure".
We are not talking about dogs trained and handled on club level niveau, but about dogs that were trained under a lot of pressure for a long period of time.
The "trial" is the result of hard training, and it´s not the training at all.
Sometimes you tend to forget about the whole picture - your kind of "pressure" is only a small part of all of it.

To question one of the most successful breeders ( and dogs ) of so called "working line" German Shepherds in my personal opinion is more than rude, but maybe only clueless.
Do we start to bash the good dogs now?

Blackmal, show you? How about you look it up yourself.

Yes at high levels there are only points dogs, but for you to ASSume that is 100% the case shows you are either inexperienced, naive, or narrow-minded about sport dogs.

You didn't even bother looking at his stock before forming an opinion.

There are many dogs who are high level dog competitors who don,t can,t take serious pressure
outside the IPO or other dogsport routine in the real world.. But I understand now we are talking about " pressure " in the IPO or other  dog
sport competitors. so thats clear

Black - there is a difference between bitework "only", no matter which kind - "agitating" a dog "only" is not that difficult - as soon as you try to be "perfect" things become difficult.
It´s no big deal to train a dog for bitework only, but as soon as you start to ask for obedience AND drives not only in protection, but everywhere, a lot of dogs are out of the game.
I guess you are not interested in titling dogs, but good in training green dogs, maybe a good helper.

Really just a guess, I never met you, and maybe Ì`m totally wrong.

Susie I,m now  more  interestting in the real world ( police or miltary)than all the titles and perfection  in dogsport this are two different
worlds with all the respect, but thanks for explain my question.
