Prayers for our Friends & Family in the Nothwest USA - Page 1

So many of our friends & families, great kennels & folks with GSD pets, or any pets....well they're facing imminent losses, some have already lost homes, companions. Firefighters are hard pressed, & some of our friends have faced evacuation after evacuation, with all of their animals, all are suffering, but are bravely facing this situation without complaint.
I'm on the other side of the country & can do little more than offer my best wishes, & prayers & hopes for rain...
Please send your thoughts & prayers with mine, for all of our friends in the breed & sport, for the return of wetter weather, & mercy from the firestorms in Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Northern California, & even in Canada.

Thanks Jackie.. I live in Northern California.. and am close to were several of the fires are.. I have a few friends that have been in the eye of the storm.. SCARY SCARY!


God Bless the FireFighters that are fighting these fires... and my condelences to the families of the fire fighters that have lost their lives fighting these fires.

Friends lost their home a few days ago; 3 firefighters died trying to save it and some others in the neighborhood. They got out in time with their dogs, so are safe. A terrible, terrible thing to have to deal with.

They can have 'our' UK weather if they can import it -

did nothing but rain here today, some Summer !

Remember Kim, Rookies mom? Fire is very close to her threatening homes. She's been evacuated several times already, needs prayers!

I do remember Kim, Jackie. Last I heard from her Rookie has just died. I am so sorry to hear she and JYL are in the path of these terribly destructive fire. It sounds like JYL is okay right now.

Rookie didn't die.. he is alive and well..

Jyl lives well over an hour from the fires.
