An imageWell, have been a few time since I updated you guys about my baby girl, so here it is, some photos and soon some clips (not training, just playing around)

Hope you enjoy ! Teeth Smile

Ps.: Sory you have to see Flávio barefoot lol, remember it is turning out to be a really hot summer days, almost 20.30 h by the time at the photos and it was still about 27ºC

I like the look of yr dog.

question for the conformation gurus, are the feet just big or are they kind "loose" in the toes???

Vk she had realy flat-feet when she was a baby, with time it is getting a lot better and they becoming more "fisty" but are still funny looking toes =P

Nice work!
I can see how she improved in just such a short time. Fantastic!

Are we talking about Becky´s or Flavio´s feet? Devil Smile

No, kidding, your Becky develops well.
I really like the vid, that´s the way to go. A lot of fun, little obedience.
Tell Flavio to shorten the heel phases, too, she needs to stay in drive, same with the "come around".

Short, quick lessons, and both will have fun. He showed that he knows how to do it. Teeth Smile

Forgot to add: Stay away from any routine at this point ( clubs tend to teach too much routine in too long sessions ), even a dog is able to become boared... and she is still very young, time enough to combine the different steps later on.

Devil Smile susie I think we are talking about Becky's muahahah

We try to allways put some work mixed in the play sessions, just some "sit" "down" or something like that, not to much....

That is the problem with Becky she gets really boerd really quicly... at the club we work in that rotine and is starting to make Becky loose interess, so we are trying to compensate at home and doing less work in the club (not realy less, just not so stricked) because passed some 10 ou 15 min in to the class and Becky starts with the atitude "HEY look is a bird!" and starts to ignore Flávio...

Becky is really sweet at home but she is a lot tough than she looks! And she is at that teens stage where sometimes she just don't want to do what daddy tell's her to do... lol

Flavio seems to be a bit Web-toed...but Becky is looking very nice...(just kidding Flavio)...

At this stage of age and training...the fun part is to play hard with your dog...NOT long...and learn to do some teaching/training as you're playing...This is the very interesting part...Get your dog to play and teach at the same time...

Using the toy...ball...kong...etc...whatever all the time is good at this point...there is plenty of time to wean away from the toy...You also should make your sessions very short...I mean no more then 10 minutes at a time...and within that period of time keep her energy going...Always end on a Positive/High note...Try to end your session when your girl is at her peak...It's not easy to know this at this time...but keep it in mind and try it...You'll find she'll be wanting to come out and play in "high drive" sooner...and then longer...

Thumbs Up Q Man

I know that a lot of people don´t want to hear this, but try to stay away from any obedience group sessions.
I guess that there is only one club in your surrounding, so you need this club, that said, be friendly, always thankful, but try to do "your thing".

Every dog is different, there is no "all dogs do it the same way". Group sessions mostly destroy any drive in a young dog.
