The police officer is a hero. The owner is a complete idiot. Should have confined the dog since he knew the police were coming.

A police officer worthy of his job description. The dog was out of line but the officer took the bites to save a life and to prevent a 4 year old from seeing his dog killed in front of him. Well done. The stickers and registry for the dogs might help. Both the dog and the 4 year old need more training .. a 4 year old should not be opening doors for anyone other than a family member.
