How to change ownership of a dog?

I own several dogs on this site and now can not update them. How and when will I be able to update their pedigrees? I get this message when I try to up date them.
Due to multiple members defacing pedigrees we now have to lock the pedigrees in and only allow moderators and those that created them to edit.
We are working on a system where multiple users can have access to a single pedigree. We will also be enabling moderators to change ownership of a pedigree

Lozzie, look at the author of 'opinions of new site'. That is gsdadmin. Click on that name and you will see 'send message to gsdadmin'. Then ask about the pedigree thing.

Joanro please read what GSD wants people to do and not just tell them to PM him. That is a waste of time when more needs to be done and he has repeatedly asked for certain things to be done BEFORE he is PM'd

There is no need to have to do everything twice this way

All I need is a link Pmd to me and you would not believe how many dog names I get sent to me. Then I have to search the dog out and transfer the ownership. So, if members want to help the next person who asks please tell them to PM me a link to the dog/s. I do appreciate the help Joan, I really do.

Lets face it, I only have a few hours a day here and I have been staying up way to late and getting up way to early to try and help as many people as I can. So, please everyone help me by first reading any thread that may pertain to whatever it is you need help with and then follow what is asked of you. It just helps to get stuff done in a timely and efficient manner. BTW, this weekend looks very busy and I believe Oli is away so everyone please be patient and I will get to you ASAP.

To help the work load for Mick someone should it explain it here better than i can how to make a link to the dog name thats wanting to changed so the owenrship change will be eaiser process
