on changes you would like to see to the site.
Oli in the coming weeks will be switching to the new beta version http://beta.pedigreedatabase.com/ if everything works out as planned I could see full use of the beta by the end of July.
If you see anything you would like improved, changed or added, now is the time to speak up. Please be constructive.
We know there are things still missing on the beta but if you see something please speak up because we miss stuff.
There has been discussion here in the past of paying a yearly fee to go advertisement free. Just wondering who might be interested in a no ads PDB. This would improve load times and cut back on bandwidth.

So if people who are not paying members, the site is not valuable. I personally think it is a big problem, as most regular people are not going to pay membership to look at a pedigree when they are only looking at a litter for a once in ten year dog. Would a non paying-member be able to click on siblings, offspring while researching.

The only difference is you would not see ads and might get a couple extra goodies thrown in.

I'm not sure if this was suggested or not but could we get a health and nutrition section seperate from the breed forums? Its just easier to post food and health questions in a seperate section, and that way people who post in the future can easily go to those questions if they have the same issue(s).

If you don't pay you would see ads.
Celtic,
I can look into adding another forum. Was actually thinking of contracting the training and show forums back into the GSD or main forums.

I would rather not have any fee for the site and see the advertizing

What if we required everyone to turn off ad blockers to view the site?
by CelticGlory on 02 July 2015 - 03:07
The only issue with that is that when I didn't have ad blockers on I got a serious virus that wouldn't get off my computer no matter what I did. My whole computer crashed and it hasn't been the same since. I can't open certain files directly anymore and have to do it manually by going to the program its supposed to open with or in 'Downloads." This was just last month too. So, now I don't take my ad blocker off no matter what and I scan my computer weekly now too.
