at 7 mo. maybe in the range of 65-75#. no set rule.
the other testicle is probably up in the body, did not drop. at 7 mo. it probably is not going to.
for training, if you have no experience maybe there are clubs or organizations there to help novices.
it's an international board, don't apologize or fail to participate because of English, most people understand.
good luck.

I hope this puppy was sold to you as a pet, without breeding rights. As ILMD said, the missing testicle is likely not going to drop at this age, which means this dog should not be used for breeding, as missing or retained testicles are hereditary. He can pass this problem on to his sons.
Testicles that remain inside the body often become cancerous, so you should have him neutered and have both testicles removed. This will be a much more complicated and expensive surgery than a normal neutering operation. You should wait until he is at least 1 year old before neutering him.
Good advice re. finding a club to train with, or a trainer who has experience with German shepherds or similar breeds. It is impossible to explain how to train a dog over the internet. What works for one dog will not work for another, and without seeing your dog and how he behaves, it's very difficult to give good training advice.

There are video's also that you can watch regarding training, however, do not make this your only means of learning how to train as your dog needs to be out amongst other dogs while training and learning to be social with other people and other dogs as well. You can go to Leerburg for video's regarding training as well as feeding, equipment, and other socialization methods; also Michael Ellis video's; And lots of others are available for you to watch or buy. That will give you an idea of what you will need to do. Your dog at 7 months needs to start now...
Good luck, enjoy every moment with him as they grow up very quickly and that puppyhood stage never comes back. Nan

One testicle can still come down into scrotum as old as one year. If he still only has one testicle when one year old have the veterinarian take only the the testicle not in the scrotum. Leave the other testicle in the scrotum.
Get the book by Dick Staal, "From Puppy to Working, Sporting or Police Dog", title "The Best Way to Train Your Dog"
That book is very good and easy for a beginner to read. It explains a lot as it goes.
Good luck with your pup, enjoy him.
