I know I have posted this in the past but it is one of my favorite cams.

I almost feel sorry for the drivers ...

I am shocked there aren't a lot of deaths at this crossing. Should probably be a stop light at this crossing. Being from America it is always weird to see the driving on the opposite side of the road.

Ah but Admin if they put a crossing with lights there, the bureaucracy sez

the zebra stripes would have to go ...and then it wouldn't be the same, or

reminiscent of the album cover, would it ? 

But you'd still probably get the photographers telling people to keep pressing

the button to operate the traffic lights.   And then they'd get used so much

they'd keep breaking.  And the people using it ad hoc as a zebra crossing

are much quicker than the cycle of lights would be;  so lights might cause

delay, and delay might cause traffic problems further down the street  (and

we have enough of those in London already, thank you). 

I think its just as weird, looking at American and other cars travelling on 'their' 

side of roads, for us who are used to driving on the left !
