They come in 125 and 134 (ISO). Tiny. Thought about ordering one for my Chi and if I liked it, starting to use them on pups. Anyone used these before?

Super. My new Chi is under 3lbs. I waited and waited for him to grow but he's 10 months now and still....under 3lbs or after a big meal, just over 3lbs, LOL. His skin is soo fragile and tight and I am just terrified to have to put that gauge needle that deep into that tiny neck. No thank you.
Joan, have you scanned them and are they getting picked up like they should?
I actually had a chip climb back out the hole one time. Only once, ever, but they even xrayed the dog and there is no chip, and I put a chip in.

The chip is tiny, can't feel it after implanted.

That's going to be a little chi. Good thing he's a he-chi and not a she-chi, lol.

Wow, Joan, I wonder if that was the case - it was never in the applicator. I assumed it came out. I know a vet who glues the skin because on rare occasion, while healing, it can be pushed out by the body. I figured that's what happened but now I wonder if it was ever in there.

I used them on the last pups and loved them. No issues at all.

I got that. The one I had that I thought came out but maybe was never there was a Datamars, I think. Could've been HomeAgain. Can't remember.

Thanks Ramage for the other vote of approval.
Have you both used the 125 or the 134 (ISO)? Do you think for dogs unlikely to leave the country that there's a big advantage to one over the other?
