Is it uncommon/unheard of for a bitch to deliver pups from one horn and deliver live pups from the second Many hrs later? If this does happen, is it because second horn pups are younger (not from same breeding as the first horn)? Thank you!

We just had a litter that will be a week old on Sunday. She delievered 3 pups within an hr, and 2.5 hours later delievered 3 more. As for the second part of your question, I did research on this and the lifespan of the matured eggs to be fertilized is 24-48 hrs. I am not really sure that the time in between delivery of pups has anything to do with not being from the same breeding.
