Sable dog in India - Page 1

Hello Everyone, I would like to know does anyone in India have good show quality sable dog? I love sable colour dogs and would really love to own one. I read here on database that Mr.Mathew from Hyderabad had Timo son Vendor Haus Dexel but it was not sable. Did he produce any sables? I request Mr. Mathew to get a sable from Mr.Dexel next time he plans to get the dog. That will be great addition to Indian GSD scene. I feel because sable colour is not favorite with many people the dogs dont do well at the shows. That is sad. Last sieger show Thor Friendenspark was a superb sable dog. Then earlier Champ Dakota,Dancer Dakota, Timo Berrekasten, Buffalo Bill made it to top places. I hope in future SV will promote more and more sables. Please if somebody has sable in India let me know.

Sumo, Vendor had brothers and sisters that were sable. Vandor, Vila, Vella were all sables from the same litter. You should be able to find them and some of their offspring here on the PDB. I have seem some very nice sable dogs from Champ.

Sumo, U spoke my mind.I even almost bought a sable dog this time but he was 5 yrs old n so settled for Amigo who is just 2. I do love sables. However there is always a doubt whether buying a high priced sable will make commercial sense in India with the world full of experts. Buffalo Bill is for sale if you are interested and the dog is still available. Dog1 had Vendor's brother and sister. Lastly Sumo unless a parent is sable u will get no sable pups even if there are sables in earlier generations.So with Vendor u could never get a sable unless the bitch was sable, bcos Vendor himself was not sable. Vendor's brother is available in Hyderabad but he too is not sable. Yes Dexel Gerd is an expert with sables. His bitch Diva lippsteg (many times V1 in germany) is an awesome sable bitch.My favourite sable. I have her daughter from Pakros D'ulmental. Ms Margit Dorssen is also a expert on sables- the best.See her website.

Hello Mathaus, You said right it is difficult commercially to maintain a high priced sable in India. I looked at the picture of Buffalo Bill. He is a wonderful dog with good show record. Were u planning to buy Buffalo bill? if yes then it is bad luck for India that such beautiful dog did not come here. Please Mr.Mathew seriously think of getting a sable to India as you must be knowing Mr.Dexel also. Who else in the world is better than him to give you a beautiful sable. We all sable lovers in India will be thankful to you. I promise the moment you get a sable I will book the puppy.Just joking. But yes we all would love to have a sable in India.

Sumo, I own V-Vila vom Haus Dexel (sable). She produced V-Gina vom Silbersee (sable Erasmus van Noort-daughter, SG-53 at the Sieger Show last year, who is currently with Gerd and will be bred later this year. Maybe, Gerd will have a puppy for you from her, or as Mathaus stated out of V-1 Diva vom Lippesteg. Gina and Diva are his only sable options now, not many left in general, even in Germany. My Vila is expecting a litter out of VA-Nando vom Gollerweiher in about three weeks, but this litter will be born in the U.S. And I am not so thrilled about shipping a young puppy such a long way! And it is probably easier from Germany! Chris
